ABG Lift Truck Training ltd (formally Blaenau Gwent Council fork lift training) is an established lift truck and manual handling training provision with 12 years experience in the industry. The Business and Training Manager, Steve Jones (PGCE) is a fully RTITB accredited trainer with a strong reputation and loyal customer base.

Training is provided at the modern training centre within Barleyfield Industrial Estate, Brynmawr, which is equipped with a classroom, refreshment facilities and ample on-site parking. Alternatively training can be delivered at your premises with full flexibility to meet demands including evening, weekend and bank holidays, ensuring minimal disruption to your operations.

At ABG Lift Truck Training we offer a wide range of RTITB accredited lift truck training as well as ‘in house’ bespoke training packages to suit all of your training needs. Courses can be delivered at the Training Centre based in Brynmawr or at our customer’s premises. Courses times can be flexible and, where needed, can include working during evenings and weekends.

Novice Courses
Novice Courses are perfect for who has never operated a lift truck before, needs full training and requires a certification. Refresher Courses
Refresher Courses are perfect for someone who has already been trained and certified, but their certification needs renewing. Manual Handling
Manual Handling Courses Training is available for the All Wales Manual Handling Passport and Information Scheme and a range of centre based or on-site training can be arranged to suit your needs. First Aid Courses

Prices
All courses are competitively priced with a range of payment options available. Individual quotes are available on request and the price covers all training, materials and certification. There are no hidden fees. We even throw in free refreshments with our centre-based training to keep you hydrated and focused!
Links with employers and wider agencies
ABG has a loyal customer base with links to over 75 companies in the south east wales area. We have been very successful in matching trainee and experienced operators to vacancies in the warehousing industry. We also work with a range of welsh government funded agencies who can provide funding and support for training including REACT for those seeking support to re-enter employment.
